Happy Holidays!

As the year comes to an end, we will all be busy scurrying from one place to another. So, let me say early that I hope you all have a very wonderful holiday season, no matter what you're celebrating. I will personally be trekking between three states to visit family, open presents, and eat a bit of the bountiful Southern feasts my family will have on display.

Be safe, travel carefully, and don't forget to take time out for yourself!

With Love,
Angie

Rowan Elizabeth ~ Featured Author

1. What is your name? Rowan Elizabeth

2. What is your most recent published work’s title and where can we find it? The Coming and Going Series. It starts with Speed Freak and works through 10 episodes. The entire series can be found at Ruthie's Club. The series, as it unfolds, can be found atwww.rowanelizabeth.com.

3. What is it about?. Hot women and Hot cars.

4. If you have a current project you’re working on,can you share a little of it with us? Even just a snippet? I'm working on a piece titled "Daphne's." She started as a stand alone and is growing into a Novella. It explores the duplicity of the life of a woman working in a sex shop.

5. When and why did you begin writing? I began writing when I was in college. I was frustrated with life and had just read Anais Nin. She inspired me to write. Later, I wrote in earnest to a lover. Thousands of words later and I had documented our affair. He encouraged me to write for myself, for profit and fun. So, a little over two years ago, I began writing for publications. I've had over two dozen stories published and will have the honor of being in the upcoming Best American Erotica 2008, edited by Susie Bright.

6. What is your favorite subject to write about? That's an easy one ... sex! But yes, we all can write about sex. I like exploring some of the darker sides to very realistic encounters. I'm not [writing] science fiction or paranormal...just a heavy dose of reality.

7. What do you find is the most surprising aspect of being a writer? I'm surprised most by the reactions of readers. They are so supportive and encouraging.

8. What do you find to be the most fun? Writing something that I am particularly happy with and then reading it out loud to my lover. And the mellee that ensues.

9. What other authors do you enjoy reading? Can you tell us why? Alexander Trocchi for his brash approach to writing. Anais Nin for her poetic prose. And Portia da Costa for a good filthy read!

10. Before becoming a writer, what was your day job?Whew! Still have a day job. Work in government. Boy if they knew my other side!

11. If you had one thing that you’d take with you during a house fire or other emergency, other than people or pets, what would it be? My laptop and my flash disk.
